The cognitive process according to Piaget

Scheme is the concept that exist in a subjects mind to organize and interpret the information. The assimilation is a mental process that happens when the child incorporate new knowledge  to the previous knowledge.
The accommodation happens when a child adjust information towards new schemes. The cognitive is a mental operation through which we become knowers of the objects and life. Also, is a set of mental process that take place between the stimulus reception and the answer to them or processes through which the sensorial input is transformed, reduced, elaborated, retrieved or used.

As a future teachers, it's interesting to know that we have to catch the children attention in order to their focused in a specific task. We have to be clear in order to ask for a task, we have to be specifics and motivated the students in order to reach the goal : it results and efficient and economic perception for the actuation.

Body scheme definition

The body scheme perception is the image of the conscious perception that we have of our body.
The progressive experience is physical and social. The perceptual image is the information about size and shape of our body. Our cognitive image are the beliefs, thoughts, self-messages about our body and our emotional image are the level of satisfaction with our figure and with the experiences that our body proportionate us.

Preschool and school stages are fundamental in the development of the body scheme. The body schemes develops slowly during childhood because children know his/her body before knowing the world. Is a slowly constructed until 11/ 12 years old and depends on the maturation of the nervous system  and also it depends in which way  interact  the children with her/his environment and the context.

Education can contribute to help children in order to construct the body scheme to avoid some possible socialization or learning difficulties.

Graphic Gesture Development

As a future teachers, I think that it is interesting to know how can I know about a child watching what did he/she draw in a paper.

We can differentiate some stages of the  graphic psychomotricty :

1. Homo-lateral lines (trazos) (16 months)
The line has a proximal origin and all the arm is in movement. The straight segments are from left to right.

2. Horizontal or Oblique Sweepings (barridos) (20 months)
Lines that combine the start from the axis and the return to  the same point and Back and forth movements, symmetric for both hands

3.Circular lines, positives or negatives
More flexible lines that substitute the sweepings. Those lines are combined with a proximal origin movement and a rotatory movement of distal origin.

Trough the observation of the drawings we can observe  the children aspects: his/her physical developmen, feelings.. And also, we can observe their maturation process

School-age psychomotor progress

Schoolchildren should learn to regulate motor skills and internal processes that determine them. Psychomotor education refers to complex issues rooted with the individual and collective imaginary contextualized education.
This learning needs persistence, involvement, and systematic education through all the scholarisation, preferibly in a transveral way – language class / maths class.

How to prepare an activity of motor skills.

In my opinion, physical education teachers have to work more the psychomotricity in the subject. In this section we learnt how to do an activity though for the children but aplying it with our peers. Our activity was:

GUIDELINES FOR THE PREPARATION OF AN EDUCATIVE ACTION ORIENTED TO THE PSYCHOMOTOR EDUCATION AT SCHOOL
1. Title of the activity
Playing with the psychomotricity: We can be animals too !!
2. Description of the activity
Students have to reproduce the movements and sounds of the animals that the teacher says. When the music sounds, the students have to reproduce the movements and sounds and when the teacher turn the music off,  children have to stop and wait to listen the music again in order to represent another animal.
a) Psychomotor aspects that develops or stimulates :
- Coordination and movement regulation.
- Control of own body.
- Capacity to properly orient the body in space.
- Static equilibrium.
- Dynamic equilibrium.
- The child delimit his body in relation to persons, objects and space (Run, stand up and turn with control ).
  - Oriented in the field (left, right, near, far, inside out, until x limit, etc.) with references in space and not in his own body.
  - Linking and/or synchronize actions within a time.
b) Objectives
- To coordinate both parts of the body.
- To have the capacity to orient the body in space.
- To coordinate the movements with the music and the vocal sounds imitating the animals.
d) Needed sources and space requirements
We need a big class because all of students have to move spaciously in the classroom to carry out the movements.
e) Number of participants recommended
25-30 students
3. Activity assessment: We expect to corroborate that all of students have the psychomotricity developed ( although always there are more awkward people).
4. References and sources reviewed: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UJdkHOQtJX0
5. Reflection: As a future teacher, how can this experience be useful for me?
We think that prepare these activity for our classmates help us to take experience at the time to prepare activities because as a futures teachers we will have to organize a lot of activities for the kids.
Doing these activity we can know if we are right at the time that we choose this activity to work the psychomotricity because our classmates and also the teacher give to us their opinion, so we can improve for future situations.

Motor development

The human development explore and explains how and why people change as they age and how and why they remain being the same.

¿ What is a human development theory? Is an ordered set of principles and hypotheses that try to explain the development and that are intended to provide a theoretical framework for research.

Motor Development

The motor development involved in the same way internal and external factors. Internal factors could be the genetic material, sex or hormones and the external factors are the nutrition, the weather, the social class, etc.

to talk about the motor development we have to take into account the laws of growth and physical development. The motor development is produced by:

Cefalocaudal low: development occurs from the upper body (the head), to the bottom ( feet).

Proximodistal law : is produced from the central part towards the extremes of the body. The child controls before the movements  of the arms than the hands, and  the movement of the hands prior to the fingers.

Flexors and extensors law:  The flexors are the muscles that flex the joints and the extensors are the muscles that provoque the aperture of the joints. The child lean first to pick up an object than drop out the object.

The nervous system allows the movemnt, but this is only possible if the brain transmits the command correctly.

Friendship

Friendshipis related on reciprocity, voluntary and not obliged, based on the joy of being together, that gives us a positive balance on cost-benefit. In my opinion a friend is not only a person  who listen you and help you when you have a nice day or when you have a bad day, in my opinion a friends are members of a big family and I think that is one of the most important in my life and in the others' life because trought our interactions,we learn of each other .
